Rochon was born and raised in Torrance. She is the child of Zelma Staples (a nurse practitioner) and Samuel Staples (a businessman and graphic artist). Cerritos High School in Cerritos California is where she finished her high school education in 1982. She earned her bachelor's of broadcast journalism, with a minor in sociology and theater at California State University Dominguez hills (CSUDH). In the year 2016 Rochon was back at CSUDH as the keynote speaker during the commencement ceremonies for CSUDH's College of Arts and Humanities

Heather Storm works as a travel writer, television host and producer. Heather Storm is a woman who has an obsession for cars. She was the host of Garage Squad, a Discovery MotorTrend Network series, Street Tuner Challenge, which is a Speed TV show, and she appeared on Jay Leno's Garage. Heather is the creator as well as host for the digital travel program, Drive Yourself Local, where she explores America with her classic 1965 Ford Mustang sharing local slices of small town life. Heather has been featured in a number of films and television shows, including Nightingale as well as Epic Movie.

Ullerup was part of the cast as Julia Brynn, a character in the remake series Battlestar Galactica that aired 2006 on Sci Fi Channel. Ullerup played Ashley Magnus for the first season as well as the second one on Sanctuary prior to her character being written. The reason for her departure was a source of heated debate among supporters, with many of them wanting her brought to the show in subsequent episodes until the show was cancelled in 2012. Ullerup appeared as Bree O'Brien, in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup played Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the film about the disaster Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup has been a regular character in the role of Dale Travers, in the Hallmark Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie series, since 2016.
